Sound and District Primary School collects, processes and stores personal information about its employees, pupils, parents and carers and other individuals that come into contact with the school as part of our public function and powers set down in law, to allow it to monitor performance, achievements, and health and safety, for example as well as to allow communication to parents and carers. It is also necessary to process information so that staff can be recruited and paid, courses organised and legal obligations to funding bodies and government complied with. Additionally, information on individuals and suppliers will be kept and processed where needed.
