At Sound and District Primary School ensuring the safety and welfare of every child is of paramount importance to us. Alongside our Designated leaders for safe guarding in school (refer to the Safeguarding page for more information), we have our pupil Safeguarding Officers who meet regularly with the Safeguarding Lead and the Deputy Safeguarding Lead.

What do our Safeguarding Officers do in school?
In our meetings, pupil voice is paramount. This is to ensure we constantly look at improving the safety and welfare of every child. We take an active part in Anti-Bullying Week, Online Safety and in Safeguarding Assemblies throughout the year, putting together presentations about safeguarding topics and sharing these.
